How can I fall for someone like you
you’re cold and heartless and not always true

What is it with great women falling for the wrong man
Even when you give them your all you’re just treated like sand

Being stepped on in the beach with footprints all around
When I look for your love.. it can’t ever be found

Am I not the girl for you? Am I not good enough for you?
Why DO I even bother when you dont even have a clue..

Why did I ever pick you, I say to myself
I guess this is something I’ve learn to dealt

Why did I ever pick you, knowing your ways
I wake up and ponder every single day

I’m thinking too much the pain is unbearable
But the thought of us apart is also terrible..

I put up, or shut up, its the battle I face…
Yet I can’t seem to let go of your warmth embrace.

When will this nightmare end.. I keep wanting to know
I’m taken for granted for yet I keep wanting you more.

I know when you’re gone I will miss everything
When I’m strong enough, I will be willing to leave

Yet in the meatime, I keep asking myself..
Why did I ever pick you..
My only response is… I guess because I still love you…
